1. How to delete your account
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app. This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.
- Open TuringLingo and sign in, if you are not signed in already.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account, under the sign-out option.
- Confirm on the Delete your account? dialog. If you signed in a while ago, the app asks you to sign in again first, for your security.
Your account and the data linked to it are deleted straight away, and you are signed out on that device. There is nothing further to request and no waiting period.
If you cannot use the app
If you no longer have the app installed, or you cannot sign in, write to privacy@turinglingo.com from the email address you use to sign in, with Account deletion request as the subject line. We will confirm the request came from that address, delete the account, and write back when it is done.
We action verified requests without undue delay and normally within one month. If you cannot write from the account address, contact us and we will use a proportionate alternative verification method.
2. What is deleted

Deleting your account removes the learning progress stored under it in the cloud. Data that Android holds locally on the device is not reachable from our systems: clear the app's storage or uninstall it to remove that.
3. What may be kept temporarily

4. Using the app without an account
TuringLingo can be used as a guest. Guest progress stays on the device and is not associated with a TuringLingo account. Clear the app's storage or uninstall it to remove that data.
5. Your other rights
