Is TuringLingo a language-learning app?
No. TuringLingo teaches practical IT and AI skills, and offers separate role-specific interview preparation.
Where do I get TuringLingo?
TuringLingo is an Android application. It is preparing for release on Google Play; the courses run on your phone, and this website is here to explain the product and hold the legal information.
Do I need an account to use it?
No. You can learn as a guest and everything works. A guest’s progress stays on that device only. An account exists so your progress belongs to you rather than to one phone.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Each course is downloaded to your phone as a package, so lessons and practice work offline. A connection is only needed to download a course, to sign in, and to sync progress.
What happens to my progress if I change phone?
If you learn with an account, your completed lessons, points, bytes, streak, and daily goal come back when you sign in on the new phone. If you learn as a guest, the progress stays on the old device.
What is the difference between Courses and Interview Prep?
Courses teach knowledge through lessons and exercises. Interview Prep is timed question practice for a particular role, so you rehearse answering rather than learning something new.
Which languages is it available in?
English, Spanish, and Dutch. The interface and the course content both follow the language you choose.
What does it cost?
The courses currently published are free. Paid content is planned, and anything that is not free will say so before you start it.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings and choose Delete account. It takes effect immediately. If you cannot use the app, write to privacy@turinglingo.com from the address you sign in with. The steps, what is deleted, and what is kept are set out on the account deletion page.
Are the courses a guarantee of employment?
No. TuringLingo supports learning and preparation, but cannot guarantee job interviews, certifications, or employment outcomes.
